Happy August everyone! We hope you are enjoying this incredible weather with your families and friends, in some of your favourite places. Below please find initial back to school information:

REGISTRATIONS: 

Please call the school board office as soon as possible if your child will no longer be attending ḰELSET this fall. New student registration information can also be found at this link: https://saanichschools.ca/online-registration-process-k-5-students

BUSING AND TRANSPORTATION: 

Please see the included pdf for bus registration and transportation information. We are grateful for all of the Forest Park Drive road safety improvements being completed by the District of North Saanich; these improvements are on schedule to be completed prior to the start of school.

FIRST DAY BACK: 

We will be welcoming returning students on Tuesday, September 6th for a shortened morning, from 8:40 am to approximately 10:15 am. Returning students - please return to your previous line ups; new students please come to the office (kindergarten students - separate information provided).

STUDENT MEDICAL INFORMATION: 

We will be contacting families later in August to complete medical alerts forms for 2022/2023. 

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

In late August we will be requesting $45 per student for school supplies, rather than sending out a required supplies list. There is no need for you to shop for all the usual supplies at various stores.

The board office has now reopened with summer hours from 8am to 3:30 pm: 250-652-7300. Our ḰELSET school office reopens for phone calls and emails on Monday, August 29: 250-655-4648.
