ḰELSET Gratitude Garden

It is an especially important time to reflect on what we are grateful for in our lives; research has shown that when we start scanning our environment for the things that bring us happiness, it will begin to change the way our brain processes the world around us. Many of our students have contributed to our Gratitude Garden which you will see up on a bulletin board near our library.

A few contributions:

"I am grateful for recess because I can play soccer."

"I am grateful for my family because when I am sad they make me feel better."

"I am thankful for my money because when I have enough I can send it to charities."

"I am thankful for friends because they keep me company."
