Indigenous Remembrance Day
Indigenous Remembrance Day
Today, we take time to remember and honour the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis veterans who served in the military. Indigenous peoples showed courage and strength by protecting our country, even while facing challenges at home. Their service and sacrifices are an essential part of Canada’s history, and we thank them for keeping future generations safe.
We will gather as a school community for an assembly from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with Scott Sam to help us learn, reflect, and remember together.
