Let’s Get Visible Day
Let's Get Visible!
As the mornings get darker, we're joining the Capital Regional District (CRD) and ICBC in promoting road safety by participating in Let's Get Visible Day on November 6.
Students, staff, and families are encouraged to wear bright, light-coloured, neon, reflective, or sparkly clothing and accessories to help raise awareness about the importance of being visible while walking, cycling, rolling, taking transit, or driving to school.
The Let's Get Visible campaign reminds us all to:
- Be Informed and follow the rules of the road.
- Be Alert and watch for others.
- Be Visible by wearing bright or reflective gear.
- Be Predictable by making your intentions clear.
- Be Courteous and share roads and pathways safely.
We invite everyone to join in this simple and fun spirit day to help promote safe travel during the darker fall and winter months. Together, we can make our community safer because everyone plays a part in the dark!
Wear your brightest colours on November 6 and help us get visible! ✨🚶♀️🚲🦺
