It is with excitement that we share the news that Nadia Piasentin was appointed to the position of Principal at ḰELSET Elementary effective January 2025, as Tassie Harris has accepted the position of District Principal of Diversity and Inclusion.  Ms. Piasentin has been the Vice-principal at ḰELSET since August 2023 when she arrived from the Central Okanagan School District.  Nadia is an exceptional educator who works to model her values of respect through her strong relationships, acceptance of others through empathy and inclusion, as she works to improve the success of every learner. She has extensive experience supporting students with complex learning needs and has a well-established reputation of supporting her staff and school community.
